The play area is brilliant: softplay is just the right size for smaller kids, lots of little interesting areas and some nice imaginative play toys. Both my 3yo and 1yo absolutely loved it. There’s also a really nice, chatty atmosphere, it’s warm but not boiling, and the music was decent too. My main gripe is the 1 hour slot. It’s just not long enough and means that everyone enters the cafe at the same time, resulting in queues and long-ish waits for the food. The food comes out as it’s ready - mine arrived a good 10 minutes after my kids’, so I had to shovel it in while attempting to entertain my now-bored toddlers, who were begging to go back in the softplay. I ended up buying another hour in the softplay, but at £9 an hour (for 1 adult and two kids) it was an expensive morning out. Will definitely return, but would probably avoid the cafe next time and just buy two hours upfront.

Went to a child’s party and overall it was a great experience. The kids soft play area is excellent and spotless clean. Lots of activity run around with a small area for babies. After the time allocation in soft play they went into the coffee shop area where the party was held. Nice layout but could have done with more seating for the adults attending with their children. Food was nice but no option and as none of my party ate cheese sandwiches, not sure who was to blame for that though. Overall a really great place to take your young kids for an hour of activity.

I went with my daughter to the soft play at Fox & Kit and we both had a lovely time. We just stayed in the baby bit as she is too young for the bigger kids area but I was pleased to see that there is loads of things for my daughter to explore with me, or on her own. The one shame was that some of the older children came into the baby area at one point and carried some things away that my daughter was playing with, but I suspect that this is an important part of child development, so I didn't intervene, I think this could be a good lesson in dealing with disappointment with grace, but I'm not sure what lesson these older children learned as a result? After we finished playing, my daughter and I had lunch in the cafe with mum. The baby food options were great for weaning and my daughter enjoyed the humous on toast. I had a toasted sandwich which was okay. The atmosphere in the soft play and in the café was really nice. We all had a lovely time. I will definitely go again. PS. Remember to bring socks with you for the soft play area. They do sell socks at the café in case you forget but you do need them to enter the soft play which I think is fair.

I had a lovely time here with my 4 year old. The soft play was a nice size and not too expensive like some others in the local area. We had a cake, hot choc and a coffee in the café. It's nice to find somewhere you can enjoy a coffee without worrying about your pre-schooler wandering around / making too much mess / being too loud!

We booked the soft play for my 4 year old’s birthday party with food in the cafe for the kids after. The children had a blast in the soft play, something for all of them aged 8 months to 5 years! It was so great to have the place to ourselves. Abby & Lorraine had decorated the cafe for our party with colourful tablecloths and banners. The food was a good balance of decent/healthy & child friendly. Yummy tea & coffee for the adults. Great communication, a warm welcome and fabulous service. Thank you fox & kit!
